June 2023 remodeling of our main bathroom upstairs Day 1-demolition

So we are embarking on somewhat our second biggest remodel yet (after our kitchen) in our whole upstairs main bathroom. I should have taken some before pictures but you can kind of see what it looks like in these pictures. Taking off door and casings.

Tile was trickier to get off than expected. It had a lot of glue and other weird stuff ha ha.

We went through a LOT of these bags.

Sheetrock coming down.

Naked shower.

Working on the vanity area.

At one point we were going to try and reuse the cupboard part of our vanity, but we couldn't even get it out without destroying it, so onward and upward.

Destroying floor tile is even harder work. We will remember the "cement layer" forever :)
