Dr time at preschool and another zoo visit

Evelyn had "doctor" day at preschool and she got her own dr kit. I got worked on a lot by Dr. Evelyn.
First visit we had to break out the pants and jackets. A little depressing, but it warmed up later in the afternoon. Eating a banana by the gorilla.
The meerkats new home is one of our new favorite places to stop.

 Posing?

At Grandma's house the leopard was right by the glass which was real.l.y fun................

The boy tiger was out and walking around! And he was swimming for a little bit!
Of course we have to climb all around on rocks.

Red pandas were out too. They are so cute.

 Pretending to be polar bears.

Got to watch the seal lion training or watch them do "tricks" as I call it.

Saying hi to otter.

Making messes, library storytime and Adeline gets a bigger bed

Hanging out dumping water in buckets. But check out this adorable outfit for Evelyn! I love it!

We went to the first preschool storytime last week. It was all about farms and here is where we dried clothes on the clothesline. SCORE for occupational therapy!

Making our letters for our name.

Dumping out a big thing of powder. I haven't learned my lesson to move it. We don't even use it anymore. Shame on me :)

And last Saturday, this happened. Adeline by at least 6 months, has by far been our kid to last in a crib the longest. We decided when to move her to the toddler bed, and she appears to be doing better adjusting to it as well. Probably because she is older. Halleleujah!

 Testing out the bed.

Jumping off the bed. Because of course you have to do it. She says all the time " I love my big bed!"

Yeah for big kid transitions!

Sunday hanging around and a girls' Hogle Zoo visit

Creative pushing Adeline around in the boat on a Sunday afternoon.

Hoping to start up our more often zoo visits now that school is back in session for most kids. To help Evelyn with her 5 year checkup, (and for getting shots), we came right after her dr. visit since her office is right on the way to the zoo. Came on Sept 10th. Gorgeous day and not busy at all! Just the way we like it!

The crocodiles had some interesting leaves in their enclosure.
Reward for being "extra brave" and getting 3 shots. Cotton candy at the zoo.
 Measuring ourselves against grizzly bears.

 Polar bear was swimming!

The girls REALLY like to climb on the statues at the zoo lately. It's nice to let them semi-decide where we go and what we do there. I hope it helps them realize they get choices too.

Turtle was eating. It's always fun in the little animal building if animals are eating.

Green tree monitor was climbing down the rocks which was really exciting for Evelyn.

 Sand cat babies.

 Playing on the bridges.

 Being eagles.

We always end zoo visits (at least when it's open) at the playground to play awhile. And how about this gross motor play therapy!

Adeline climbed up to the top.

Adeline still hasn't got brave enough to go down the brown slide again. But hopefully soon!
