Collin and Liam finally get haircuts

Who is this kid? Yes, it's Collin back with shorter hair. He looks SO much more handsome to me! And he said he likes it because it's not in his face.

Workout time.
This face has totally made me giggle every time. We were having a discussion about how Liam needs to open his eyes more when he smiles ha ha.

Silly Collin.

Saturday family adventure going to the park

We are trying to get up back up to our Saturday family adventures more outside, but  the weather keeps not really cooperating. The girls had to take a screen break and they did art and puzzling.

Then when it finally warmed up in the afternoon we went to Vista park for an hour or so. It was really, really nice to go outside. I was still freezing, but the kids weren't.

Adeline is now big enough to climb up the huge massive spider thing. It's crazy.

Collin and Liam LOVED this bulldozer when they were small. And still do ha ha.

Look kids being nice to each other!

Look at that right arm and leg going first. I'm proud of how strong Evelyn has gotten over the years.

Good balance.
The boys have REALLY gotten into strength training at home lately.

Exploring their old hideout they went to every day in the summer when they were small.

I hope the weather warms up even more so we can go have more park days!

Liam tries out Ji Jitsu for a week

Liam has been wanting to try out ji jitsu for a couple weeks now. I told him it had to work with everyone else's schedules and activities, so he did the research and found a place. He was able to do a free "trial" week and really liked it. He went on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday of the week we did. He really liked it.
Learning some new skills. Despite Liam having never done it before, he was surprisingly pretty good. I told him that is because you are extremely athletic Liam.

Doing some rounds iwth a partner. Not sure what this is called in the terminology ha ha.

The Thursday class he did some more learning of moves. They practice against the "wall" as their partner first to better learn the skill. Then they practice with a partner.

The Friday class Liam liked best. It was a different instructor and they mostly just did a lot of different things. I could tell Liam liked it more. They mostly just practiced moves on other partners and a lot of the kids were older and more experienced and just bigger than the Tuesday/Thursday class so Liam had more fun.

Fridays are a little trickier to get to but I told him we could do a month of classes in April and I could try and have him do Fridays if I could get it to work out.

Some of these kids had been doing this for awhile and taught a lot of stuff to Liam.

This Friday session he had all kinds of different partners which was great. He got to experience a lot of different skills.

Several kids said Liam was doing great and couldn't believe this was his first week.
