Saturday adventure Gilgal sculpture rock garden

After we hiked Ensign Peak, despite Evelyn's bee sting (and since we were already downtown on the east side kind of), I wanted to go check out this Gilgal Rock garden I had seen online. It was a hidden tucked away little area. It was so well kept, and they had GORGEOUS flowers. It didn't take long to see, but it was cool.

Proof I was there.
These yellow orange flowers were SO striking!

Someday I still want peonies in my yard. They are so so pretty.
Liam took a bunch of pictures himself.

I'm not normally a fan of roses, but these white with red/pink tips were so pretty! It was a fun Saturday morning adventure. To end our Saturday adventure we went to In n Out for dinner. That's always a hit ha ha.

Saturday adventure Hiking Ensign Peak

I have a goal to do a lot of Saturday family adventures this summer. So, the Saturday before Memorial Day, we went to hike Ensign Peak.
Proof I was there.
Identifying flowers.

Almost at the top!
Hey our whole family and the whole valley!

Even Adeline made it all the way to the top! The only bad thing was on the way down Evelyn got a wasp sting her neck. This is the aftermath after she had calmed down and wanted to see a picture. It was a decent hike!

Kindergarten celebration for Evelyn and promotion for Collin

They had a little outdoor kindergarten graduation/celebration. They were so limited what they could do this year.

Evelyn has loved kindergarten and her teacher Mrs. Nay.

Getting her balloon and dimploma.

Yeah!

They had a 5/6th grade promotion for the kids now going into middle school next year. The bottom left person is Collin's art. He thought the promotion was kind of lame, but he liked the treats. I just liked that I finally got to meet his teachers!

Adeline was hot and didn't like this at all. So she climbed in the tree for the time we were there.

Our first zoo night of 2021

We went to our first zoo night last week. It was SO nice not to have to wear masks! Unless you were in a building....

Climbing around.

Watching the porcupine.

Playing on the one playground open. The splash pad wasn't open yet, but hopefully soon!

Yeah for zoo nights!
