Little Mermaid date with Evelyn

So it had been awhile since I had taken Evelyn on a date, and a long while since a "big" date. I decided to be brave and take her to Little Mermaid production of Little Mermaid.
We got there a few too minutes early, so she was a bit antsy. I had no idea if she would even last through the show. But I was hoping the songs would keep her engaged.
She was definitely antsy and struggled through a lot of it. She really liked when Ariel was on stage.
After we took some cute pictures and got some fun snacks during the intermission.

But this made it all worth it. She got to take her picture taken with Ariel. She was SO SO SO ecstatic. Afterwards at 10pm walking to the car she said, "I want to come see it again! I loved it!" and went skipping to the car. So I guess it was a win win.

Our big anniversary date, school pizza and snow cones

For my birthday earlier this year, my mom got my tickets to Hale Centre Theatre. The new one in Sandy, which we hadn't been to yet. So they came down to watch our kiddos (and go to the play themselves the next night), and Ryan and I celebrated our 14th anniversary!

The theatre was so so so beautiful.
Because it is so much larger than the old theatre (like at least three or four times probably) they could do SO much more with the sets. The play was great.

Eating Friday pizza at the school.

Theodore invited the kids over for snow cones. That was a big hit obviously.

Random fun July pictures

One afternoon after the boys went camping, they wanted to sleep in the tent in the backyard.
 Silly Evelyn.
Doing therapy at the park in doing the teeter totter.

 More play and therapy climbing.

We went to a new splash pad and park one day in Cottonwood Heights.

Adeline loved climbing up this little rock wall.

 And sliding down the slide.

More pictures from putting up the tent. No one actually ended up sleeping in it. Liam decided he didn't want to, even though Collin did. Sigh.
But at least it was outside entertainment for awhile ha ha.

Free slurpee day

When the boys and Ryan went on their overnight campout, the girls and I had some fun at home. Waiting in line for free slurpees at 7-11.

Yep, Adeline wore "my star suit" to the slurpee place, because we had just played in our backyard pool.

It was their first slurpees. I know. But it was a fun little girl outing.
