More random Dec pictures

Collin basically cooked garlic shrimp all by himself Sunday night. It was great to see him doing the whole thing.

They turned out so good! And he must have loved them because he ended up eating nearly half of them!
Reading Christmas books by the tree.
Andes grinch mint cookie baking.
Making orange chicken and chow mein. Liam got in the action this time.
Eating her preschool treats from the Christmas pajama party.
Eating her treats after being brave to get a nasal covid test.
Trying to do hair like Daddy does.

 Random sleeper.

2020 Gardner Village visit to see the elves

We went on a Friday morning last week to see the elves at Gardner Village. The boys are kind of outgoing this tradition, but we needed something that didn't involve a screen for a little bit.

I didn't remember this snowman elf. He was cute.

The naughty and nice lists have changed greatly over the last years. Now they are very small :)

Adeline wanted one of these haircuts and it was so funny the one she wanted and now I can't remember which she chose.

It was pretty chilly so we stayed less than an hour, but it was a nice getaway!

Second week of December pics

Making a new Christmas cookie recipe. Orange chocolate cookies.

Adeline earned all the stickers on her sticker chart at preschool and got a prize! She chose a pink bouncy ball.

Girls have been making lots of flower displays.
I got out the felt nativity I made years ago, and told Adeline to set it up. I came back to this. "Mom! This is my picnic! Do not touch ANYTHING!"
One of our bigger advent activities was to go get ice cream sundaes at Leatherby's with our local $15 pandemic money. It was still a splurge but everyone was very excited!

Another advent activity was to donate food to the food bank. Evelyn helped me drop it off at the city offices building.

The boys get their own room and the girls get bunk beds

The first couple weeks in December we worked on finally combining the girls into the same room. I finally felt ready to put them together. The reason partially was so the boys could have their own rooms in time for Christmas, as a present.
Got a good deal on some wooden bunk beds that were really good quality.
Adeline was VERY excited she was going to get to sleep on the top.
Testing the ladder out.

Ready with her "pink crystal".
All the kiddos helped combine and move out the old bookshelf into Liam's room, and the white one into the girls' room.

Insert here, we sold Adeline's old toddler bed and she had a little meltdown saying bye to it for a minute.
Room getting closer to being done.

Collin's first step. He has a box spring now so his bed is ultra thick. Yeah we may need no more pads. We also got him a new mattress that is REALLY nice.

Liam is excited to sleep without a bed on top.
More of Collin's room moving.

As obvious by the picture, Collin doesn't hang up a lot of clothes.
Making a zoo bed on top.

Moving the dresser into it's new spot.
The out-of-order pictures before we moved Collin in.

Before Collin moved. His last night sleeping in the same room as Liam. At least for right now ha ha.
