We tour Mrs. Cavanaugh's chocolate factory and Boomerang sheds his beard

We got tour tickets to tour the chocolate factory we have seen hundreds of times on our trips to Idaho. It's only about 15 minutes from our house, so I can't believe we haven't done it yet. It was a MASSIVE hit with everyone in our family, which hardly ever happens!
This lady makes the 10 percent of chocolates are the hand dipped. My kids were all very surprised and worried she wasn't wearing a glove on that hand. The tour guide was a friend from my old singles ward which was really fun. She said the lady had special permission from the health department to not wear a glove :)

It was a great, great tour. We learned tons through a video about how they get the chocolate from the coco tree. And everyone's ticket let them spend $4.00 in the store. That was a HUGE hit.

And we came home to Boomerang had shed his beard all over.

Week of Thanksgiving zoo trip, shed organization, mission reunion, and hanging out

Took Adeline to the zoo the Monday before Thanksgiving. It was really fun. We hadn't been in the small animal building in weeks. They were doing TONS of feeding animals so that was fun to watch.

Her favorite black footed cat she wants to take home and gets sad every time she can't.

Wearing pants backwards.
Putting the bikes up on hooks with help from my dad. Look how much open space!

The girls and I played fireball island one afternoon.
Get together with some friends from the mission at Cafe Madrid for half price tapas. It was SO fun and the food was amazing.

Sticker intensity with the girls.

Saturday adventure Nov 20 the Hill Air Force Museum

For our Saturday adventure last Saturday, we traveled up to Ogden to the Air Force Museum. It's been on my list for awhile, we just hadn't gotten to it. It had a TON of cool things.
With kids, you never get to "read" all the information facts and cool things, they care more about interactive and seeing for the most part. So I didn't get to read about each plane.
Here is Liam in front of an ancient ambulance.
WWII area. They had quite a bit of planes from this era.

Liam's favorite plane the B17.
Doing the penny well anywhere is a hit.

The girls loved this fire engine.
When we got home Collin decorated the pizza for a pizza contest with me.
I saw freeze dried ice cream at the gift shop at the museum, so bought a pack for Adeline. She hasn't had ice cream in more than 2 years. She was SO excited.
Hanging out on her queen chair ha ha.

Another zoo trip and Liam rakes leaves for activity days and hanging out

Evelyn drew me a picture of the temple.
There is a cute little baby monkey at the zoo now, just over a month old. He is fun to watch.

Seeing a squirrel is super fun.

Our silly elephant poses again, and apparently she was sweating to death and had to roll up her cheetah pants ha ha.

Making this turkey at preschool
She is coming far in writing her name.
Silly boomerang pose.
Drawing and coloring
Liam raked a bunch of leaves for activity days.
Then came home and built some fun things.
