Kennecott Copper Mine visit, plus oatmeal and pizza

This past week, Collin and I made  'felt pizza" game, where he can take orders on the menu of what people want on their pizza. I made it (thanks pinterest!) to help him with number recognition and counting. We have our niecves orders, plus pictures of people in magazines on it. Don't you love the clothes he chose for himself? They are so matching.....
Liam LOVES oatmeal. Like LOVES it. He loves to get it more on and around him then in his mouth sometimes, but seriously.... too funny. Usually it requires a bath on oatmeal days.
Yesterday, we had a family outing to the Kennecott Copper Mine. Collin was telling us he did NOT want to go, but I knew he would love it. Hello my boys and machines? What's not to love?
It was QUITE windy and cold outside looking at the mine, which was unfortunate, because I didn't bring jackets or anything. We spent most of the time inside the museum, which has little models of the mine. I wish we could have read more about the actual mine itself, but with little toddlers, that doesn't happen as much.
Collin did NOT want to smile in this picture, can you tell?
In front of part of the machine display. Collin wanted to take them all home.
This is a replica of one of the tires on the huge dumpster. They cost 20,000 dollars and last 9 months. HOLY COW!
Getting both boys to smile at the same time? Impossible.
Outside the mine with daddy. It was a very fun visit. Next time we hope it's not as windy and more warm!

Can we say static electricity?

My boys (and I do too!) LOVE LOVE our neighbor's house. We call him "neighbor". Seriously. That's his name. Anyways, this past week, he let the boys come over and play on the swing and jump on the trampoline. Collin loves this swing because it can go SUPER high.
Liam.... he loved running around the tramp.
And his hair was going OUT OF CONTROL...
So I had to run home and get a camera.
These aren't quite as out of control as they were before, but I kept snapping pictures to try and get the same effect as 5 minutes before.

Either way, his hair looked like it was going to take flight! Along with him! It was SO funny.

More time in Idaho

Liam loved playing on the motorcycle that doesn't work so well.
 Ava loved pushing him.
Ava being such a helper when we walked the Green belt.
Feeding the ducks/geese was quite the experience. Everyone freaked out at the beginning, minus Ava. Ava was right in the middle of the geese.
I was back with the scaredy cats who eventually got over being scared of the geese.

I'm finally in a picture! Me and the boys in front of the waterfall.
 Fun cousins!
An even bigger shopping cart!

Dirt and climbing

There is a vacant lot next to my parent's house. Sadee and Ava actually dug and found a bag of rocks they had buried a few months ago. This picture above I just love. It's so cute.
Of course once dirt was discovered and digging? Yes, Collin and Liam were there.

They got filthy, but had so much fun.
Liam's favorite new thing was "climbing" this couch. He did that so many times a day I'm surprised he didn't fall off it.

Hanging out in Idaho

We stayed in Idaho for a few days after Memorial Day to help babysit. Liam, liked I mentioned before, LOVED this grocery cart. He played with it A LOT!
Ava and Sadee have a school in the garage. It's pretty intense.
Liam wanted to play on any and every bike around.
The only one he could do anything with was this little trike. But, he pushed himself around and LOVED it. He thought he was SO cool :)

Wagon riding on the deck was also super fun. Liam loved this.

Circle after circle they went.

Visiting the cemetery

This was a totally random picture.... Liam LOVED this grocery cart at my parents house...that's all.
Our family was able to go and visit my Grandparent Tippets grave on Memorial Day. Collin was in charge of "cleaning" the grave.

Liam liked touching the engraven parts of the letters. It felt different to him.

 Yeah! It is clean!

We wandered around the cemetery for awhile. We found one person born in 1862! Liam LOVED these pinwheels. He got SO mad when he had to leave!
