Last Saturday adventure for May

Since it was MUCH cooler weather than normal over Memorial Day weekend, we decided to do a simple Saturday adventure and go to Wheeler Farm. I love walking around there. It's so peaceful. And due to the weather, there was hardly ANYONE there. Hanging out in the wood carvings.
Jumping the little canal.

Looking at the geese and ducks.
Chasing birds.

Checking out the chicken coop.

Getting up close to the donkeys.

They have a new little trail back behind Wheeler Farm. It was SO pretty. The walk took like 5 minutes, but it was VERY pretty and SO green.

This area was kind of swamp like. The grass was almost as tall as Adeline!

Saying a personal hi to the horse.

Playing on the old tractors.

I appreciated Collin and Liam's good attitudes for this adventure. They got in and did fun things just like the girls.
Trying to see who looks coolest in my sunglasses.

Peacock
We would have stayed longer at the fun playground, but it started raining about 15 minutes in. I promised the girls we would come back another day. This has been a very wet cold spring in general for me. I'm ready for summer!

Coloring pictures at home on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Evelyn's curly hair and our first zoo trip seeing the dog show

Evelyn has been wanting to wear curly hair to school (ever since the fancy braids from her performance resulted in curly hair), so we did her hair Sunday night after the shower and here was the result Monday morning!
She LOVED it!
Another Adeline and I zoo trip. I was so excited to go this time because they have replaced the bird show after a few summers of nothing with a dog show! But first, learning about the tiger tongue and smells.

I love seeing the girl tiger up close. She is so pretty!

And the splash pad was on with water! Adeline was SO excited!

Waiting for the dog show.
For some reason, she didn't want to go to the dog show so I had to convince her. But she LOVED it. It was so great. I'm excited to go again!

Mouse time for this snake.

We love when the snakes are slithering!
