July Logan overnight trip

In planning the summer a few months ago, I was trying to find our "big" Saturday adventure. I found a lot of fun things in Logan and decided it would be tricky to do in just one day, so we decided to stay overnight. We have never done a one day overnight extended Saturday adventure so it would be interesting to see how it went. Our first stop was the Logan Tabernacle. It was very disappointing to see it closed for remodeling on the outside, so I did backup plan # 1, the Whittier Adventure Playground.

It was a really cool playground. We spent about 30-40 minutes there doing the obstacle course and timing ourselves. Even the boys were good sports.
Adeline LOVED that she could do super swinging on these monkey bars.

Then we had some more extra time before the heritage center opened so we went to Gossner Foods. The flavored milk place so many people had told me about. I think the kids were a little hesitant about rootbeer milk? but it was a huge hit.
The best was they just had little boxes of all the flavors so everyone chose 3, minus me the non-milk lover who just chose 1. They had orange cream, cookies n cream, rootbeer, etc. We also got some smoked provolone cubes. Those were good!

Everyone loved their milks!
