Of course we went to the Aggie creamery.
Liam declared his rainbow sherbet to be the best ice cream ever. Like EVER.
Collin got a fancy drink, and the rest of us got ice cream. Proof that I am nice when I let my kids eat ice cream at 11 am before lunch.
We were going to walk around the USU campus while we ate our ice cream, but after walking around and seeing NOT ONE PERSON, we discovered basically all classes are online. Nothing, no building was even open, even the student center, we decided to forego walking around more. Disappointing for me because I had been excited to see the campus.
Some visitor at the Heritage Center told us about the Chocolate factory that is associated with USU so we went and got a little mini tour and bought some chocolate.
And this picture is out of order, but earlier on Saturday, Ryan took the boys to do baptisms for the dead in the Logan temple. The best part? NO ONE was there. Probably because our appointment was at 630, but still! It was a nice break from the Jordan River temple where it is always super busy. It was a fun overnight adventure!

Day 2 Logan trip- the Hobbit Caves
In searching around for hikes to do in Logan, this one came up many times. It was called the Hobbit Caves, so knowing my family, we had to go.
You scrambled down this little area and then had to walk across the board bridge for the Logan river. Luckily they had a rope at the top to cross.
Ryan went behind Adeline.
The little hobbit caves were basically right there when you got across the river. I'm not sure how you would even know these are there, unless someone had already been there to tall you where to go.
The kids had a lot of fun climbing up to where the river was at before the waterfall. This made me nervous. But I tried to be brave.
Hobbit cave.
More throwing rocks and studying the area before the waterfall.
Proof I was there.
It really was so pretty back in there. I was thinking it would be a bigger hike, but it was more of an area to explore. You could walk down a little ways and see more caves but we didn't venture much further than that.
There was really nobody else there for the time we were there so we basically got the whole area to ourselves.
Climbing in a different area.
Pretty view.
Ryan being Gandalf.
Finding a few rocks to throw in the waterfall.
The waterfall was only about 6 feet, but it was really pretty.
Intense rock throwing here. It was so good to see my kids out in nature and not behind screens. That is a big side benefit of going on adventures and trips, for the most part, no screens.
Climbing up above the hobbit holes.
Liam posing.
Adeline made a little fairy area here. She was so proud of finding all sorts of treasures to make it.
More in the back area.

Axe throwing and soft play at Cache Valely Fun Park, Angies restaurant
I kind of hate when the pictures come totally out of order. So just start from the bottom and read back up ha ha.
The boys checking out the gym room at the hotel.
We all agreed it was an awesome place for us. With reservations, NO wait, the food was very reasonably priced and each meal had TONS. No one walked out of there not rolling :)
They brought everyone out if you wanted a mini ice cream for free!
Liam got crepes.
Adeline and Evelyn got a raspberry whipped cream french toast thing.
After we went and checked into our hotel, and then went to our dinner reservations at Angie's restaurant, recommended by several people. Collin got a double double, that's FOUR hamburgers in one hamburger. It was nuts. And he ate it all. That kid can eat a LOT of food.
Eventually they started getting close to the bulls eyes and even got a couple of bulls eyes!
It was MUCH harder than it looked at first.
The girls were too little to do axe throwing so I got them an hour at the soft play climbing area. It had a lot of fun slides all throughout so they had fun while the boys were throwing.
We had Ryan, Collin and Liam try out a new thing, axe throwing. Here they are getting instructions.
