South Dakota Trip Day 1, travel to Casper

This picture should be the last one, but here we are hanging out in the airbnb in Rapid City.
This summer our family vacation took us to South Dakota and the Black Hills. Because I decided we shouldn't do a 11+ hour drive in one day, we just went to Casper the first night. Here we are at a fun park in Rock Springs.

We stopped there for lunch. Ironically the boys stopped at the same park on their way to trek. That made me laugh.

And because there was a mixup in our room needs, we ended up getting two rooms for the price of one, so Ryan and I had a connecting door with a king bed and the kids had 2 queens in the other room.
It was REALLY nice to have 2 little mini kitchen table prep areas to make our standard first night trip food, tacos!

Food prep.
The next day after church, we went up to see the Casper Wyoming temple. It's a very small temple but the design REALLY makes me think of smaller version of Taylorsville.
Their open house is going to start in a couple of weeks. Brought back some fun memories of our experiences with the Taylorsville open house.

This airbnb we stayed at in Rapid City had a grill we could use so we had hamburgers the first night thanks to Collin.
Evelyn pulled out a tooth. The tooth fairy was busy this month!
Hanging out at the airbnb on Sunday night.
