Day 6, Sequioa Park and Zoo, Skywalk

We had planned to do the skywalk later in the day, but it just worked out better to go in the morning. Which ended up being better than I thought it would be. It was a part of a little zoo, but we mostly went for the skywalk.
Here we are at the entrance to the skywalk.

Walking up to the bridges.
The skywalk is about 86 feet above the ground. It was very, very cool. SO SO pretty!

I loved looking out at all the pretty trees and seeing all the ground cover from higher up.

Walking across one of the suspension bridges.

Here we are near the end of the skywalk, but we suddenly saw a black bear climbing up a tree. WHAT?!?!? At first I remember thinking, there is a random bear in the forest! And was a little panicked. But then, we realized it was one of the bears in the zoo and the tree was just in it's enclosure. Phew!

But it was fun to see him climbing up and down this tall tree. We were debating on how high he would go :)
Their zoo had an eagle's nest just like ours!

This water feature was a big hit with all the kids.

And Adeline didn't want to leave this play farm area :)
