Day 5, the Bigfoot gift shop and Avenue of the Giants part 1, Shrine Tree

A friend had told me about this funky Bigfoot gift shop just north of the Avenue of the Giants. It was funky.

It had some cool things.

Like a fish pond.

First stop on the Avenue of the Giants. Chimney Tree.

These pictures don't really do justice to this drive. It was SO pretty and the Redwoods were right next to the road.

We went to the Shine Drive thru tree, but got a little too nervous to attempt to drive our car through it, so we walked through it and took a picture.

This was the cathedral tree right by the shrine tree.
