Day 5 continued, Avenue of the Giants, Founders Grove Hike

This was the first chance we had later in the afternoon to see the huge Redwoods. The pictures don't really do it justice.

This is the grandfather tree I think. We tried panoramic to see if you could tell how tall. It is tall.

And we didn't see (or think about) the sign that said don't climb on fallen trees until the end of this hike. So we were innocent in these pictures. And the kids LOVED climbing on the big trees.

Crazy how big they are.

This was one of their favorites to climb up on.
