Museum of Natural History Part 1

Clear back last summer, by doing the summer reading program, the kids and I earned a free pass to the natural history museum. We hadn't used it until now, so we used it this past week. This place is SO fun. So many, many interactive things to help kids learn. My girls always love these games at the beginning to find out what kind of scientist you would like to become based on your interests.

Water area is fun.
Liam admiring the big snake.
Collin showing me the massive cockroaches that freaked me out.

Looking at bugs under a microscope.
This game is really cool. You can plan a city and figure out how to make a 0 emissions city. They won the game for the first time!
Our awesome token picture at the beginning of the dinosaur area. Look, everyone looking at the camera! A miracle!

Matching bones up with fossils.

Seeing a MASSIVE dinosaur claw.

Putting the puzzle fossil together of allosaurus' head.
Digging out fossils.

He did it! It was trickier than he thought.

Silly Collin pose.
