Day 7 of the cruise, Hubbard Glacier Alaska

This was THEE sunniest day of our entire cruise. Which made everything THAT much prettier.
Coming into the scene of Hubbard Glacier. We actually couldn't get much closer because you could still see chunks of ice floating by the cruise ship every once in awhile.

Pretty glacier.

They actually took some people closer in on a smaller boat (which I didn't even know you could do), and some people were sad we couldn't go further in. The captain said in about a month when more ice has melted you can go further in, but too much ice still (which is hard to see in this picture), but there were definitely a lot of ice chunks around. In fact, a couple days after we got home, we heard about a Norwegian ship going to the Hubbard Glacier that hit an iceberg and had to stop their cruise! So glad this wasn't us!

The sun was SO nice.

Pretty ocean.

Pretty green mountain on the other side.
