Our Great Basin National Park trip- the Ward Charcoal Ovens and hotel

We just did a more "mini" trip with our little family this year, due to the Coeur d 'Alene trip earlier. We drove to Ely Nevada on July 29. We went down to the Ward Charcoal Ovens. We had the place basically to ourselves. Had a picnic lunch.

Everybody wanted their hiking sticks. So all the kids found one. Collin's was really cool.

These ovens were cool to learn about. They were very large. The kids loved the echo inside.
