We drove to Great Basin National Park on Friday Morning July 30. It was definitely really fun to drive up a high mountain. We haven't really hiked much in "colder" weather in forests. The last few hikes we have been have been in hot desert climates so this was a different experience.
The first half of the trail was SO green and beautiful. This was a hike of 2.7 miles. The longest hike we have ever attempted as a family.
Lots of logs. For quite awhile, maybe for an hour, we only saw about 3 other people there. It was like we had the hike to ourselves. That was SO nice.
More exploring. This hike really was so pretty.
Adeline basically wanted to take a picture every five seconds ha ha.
"Mom! Take a picture of me with this little Christmas tree!"
On this rock!
