Free day at DIscovery Gateway Part 1

I found out Discovery Gateway Childrens Museum had a free day the week before school started as well. We hadn't been there in several years, mostly due to expenses and just not sure the boys would still care and girls too little for the price. I figured we could try and handle the craziness again. We brought our friend Spencer so that made it more fun.
We got there a few minutes before it started, which helped tons with parking and getting in. The boys I kind of just let go off on their own (YEAH! As long as they checked in with me) and spent time in the downstairs area with the girls. For the most part, it's more geared towards younger kids. They had several new things since we hadn't been there in so long, including this bee hive climbing thing.
Evelyn loved it, but Adeline got freaked out about climbing down, so we didn't stay long there.

Oh such memories of my boys playing in this construction site area.
Adeline especially loved this little baby doll house area.

Evelyn loved playing in the kitchen area of the house.

The water area was totally different than the last time we were there. Lots better I think. More interactive stuff with these balls.

Boys came down for a bit for the construction area. Even they remembered that part.

Play therapy with the fishing pole!

 Grocery store.

 Climbing on the horse.

Adeline liked the farm area. Stay tuned for part 2!
