We then saw the play area. This was very exciting! Evelyn LOVED going down it. Adeline kept climbing up the stairs and looking down the slide, but was too nervous to go down.
The little tiny toddler slide Adeline loved.
Evelyn loved dressing up and "becoming" a butterfly.
Here she is with her wings. This was actually really good for righty to practice stretching out long and holding a wall.
Butterfly in flight.
The play area had this really cute tree you could put balls in. Adeline LOVED this tree and putting the balls out and seeing them come back in.
More butterfly in flight
Having lunch in between all the strollers.
Back to the exhibit area to build more bugs.
Adeline in the cocoon.
They had a fun hole punch thing where you could make a "ring" butterfly to put on your finger.
Discovering the cave of jewels.
Watching the butterflies take flight.
I was impressed with how much we loved the butterfly biosphere. I'm so glad we only had to spend $4 instead of 35 so it's fairly pricey regularly..... but my girls didn't want to leave. We stayed there about 4 hours and could have stayed way longer, but I had to get back to do some things at home. We will hopefully plan to go again soon!
