Sunday hanging around and a girls' Hogle Zoo visit

Creative pushing Adeline around in the boat on a Sunday afternoon.

Hoping to start up our more often zoo visits now that school is back in session for most kids. To help Evelyn with her 5 year checkup, (and for getting shots), we came right after her dr. visit since her office is right on the way to the zoo. Came on Sept 10th. Gorgeous day and not busy at all! Just the way we like it!

The crocodiles had some interesting leaves in their enclosure.
Reward for being "extra brave" and getting 3 shots. Cotton candy at the zoo.
 Measuring ourselves against grizzly bears.

 Polar bear was swimming!

The girls REALLY like to climb on the statues at the zoo lately. It's nice to let them semi-decide where we go and what we do there. I hope it helps them realize they get choices too.

Turtle was eating. It's always fun in the little animal building if animals are eating.

Green tree monitor was climbing down the rocks which was really exciting for Evelyn.

 Sand cat babies.

 Playing on the bridges.

 Being eagles.

We always end zoo visits (at least when it's open) at the playground to play awhile. And how about this gross motor play therapy!

Adeline climbed up to the top.

Adeline still hasn't got brave enough to go down the brown slide again. But hopefully soon!
