Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point- Part 1

For another girls' Tuesday adventure we went to the butterfly biosphere at Thanksgiving Point. It is relatively new, and Evelyn LOVES butterflies so she was super excited.
Having a snack in line to get in. We get there about ten minutes early, which was GREAT!
We went to the aviary first. A very nice worker showed Evelyn how to hold a butterfly.

It felt and looked like a rainforest in there! So many pretty, pretty butterflies and flowers!

This little area was where Evelyn had the most success holding butterflies. She was very determined.

Pure joy in that face there that one walked on her finger.

 More trying to catch butterflies.

Having a little chat with this butterfly.

Adeline of course liked the butterflies that looked pink.

Seeing all the cocoons and the butterflies emerging.

This monarch butterfly LOVED Evelyn's hair. It would come and land on her hair for awhile, we would get it off, then we would see it again. It was funny.

This was a huge hit!
