Preschool party and Halloween at the zoo

This whole last couple of months, Evelyn has said she wanted to be a dragon for Halloween. A few days before she decided something else, so Snow White was what we had. Here is what she wore to her preschool Halloween party. Love the bows Evelyn.

 She is really ready.
Adeline was ready to haul her little ghost around.
Since the kiddos got up SO early on Halloween, I decided to take the girls to the zoo on Halloween to kill a few hours. We saw NO ONE until 1045. It was definitely a little chilly to start out with, but then it got nice.
The orangutuns were so fun to watch.

 Playing in the rainbows

Measuring the bears. Actually, with cooler weather, we kind of do the zoo backwards from what we normally do, so it's been a nice change.

 Watching the tiger roar.
The wolves have been a new hit.
And of course we must point out all the snakes.

Playing on the elephant is a new thing too.

Great way to spend Halloween morning. I know we spend/take a lot of pictures at the zoo, but it's been such a great thing for our family. I remember how fun it was to take the boys every week when they were smaller, so I'm so glad I have been able to start having that same experience with the girls.
