Monticello Canyon Creek Discovery Center

It took us about an hour and 45 minutes to drive from Monument Valley to Monticello Utah. We chose Monitcello since it would make it easier to drive home on Sunday. And it was cheaper to stay in than Moab. Plus in researching they had a fun discovery kids center.
We spent a good couple of hours there late in the afternoon on Saturday. And we were practically the only ones there. It was so weird! A Saturday in the summer? Granted, Monticello is a very small town, but I was so surprised. This sand map was super cool. Depending on where your hands put the sand it would light up.

Massive light brite. These were all stem activities. The light brite seriously took me back to my childhood.

Righty therapy trying to sneak some in.

This water table was fun too.

Liam really had fun building a bridge for the ball to get from the top to the bottom. It took lots of hard work. Maybe he will be an engineer :)

Making and grinding corn and wheat. I told Collin I'm so glad we have a wheat grinder that makes this much easier at home.
