Day 2-part 1 of Mesa Verde

Liam learned how to tie shoes on the drive down and practiced more in the early morning at the hotel room.
We didn't get to the Mesa Verde visitors center until about 930, which meant the soonest tours was not until 130-2ish....which threw off our plans, but we rolled with the punches and found LOTS of other stuff to do.
Like play around in the visitor center.
The girls got these cute birds that made lots of noises. We soon regretted that purchase ha ha. Sadly, Adeline lost hers within a day..... but maybe we were secretly glad ha ha.

More exploring at the visitors center.

On the hunt for license plates. Surprisingly, we found all but four plates on our trip. I wasn't sure if we would find nearly like California, but we did!

The birds "had to sleep" in their sleep sacks sometimes for Ryan's sanity.
Coming to the mesa verde museum.
Adeline always looking up in pictures.
 The diaramas were really cool.
This was our first cliff dwelling. Step house.

OH love this Collin!
