Library summer reading party and a new lunch at the park

A couple days ago I had a serious allergy attack all day long. This picture represents the boys (with Evelyn helping a little bit) getting everything ready for dinner for Chinese sundaes. It was such a nice act of service and empathy for me. And look how fancy!
This past Wednesday was the library summer reading opening party. They had some fun activities. The theme this year is about the universe. Here is where you could shoot something to knock down boxes.
 Making our space rockets.

Collin and Liam and Spencer (our friend) were pretty successful at getting their rockets to launch really high.

Adeline mostly liked eating her space cookie.
Evelyn wanted to climb in the rocket cockpit so we waited for quite a long time for her to get in. She was so happy.

Liam then decided he wanted to climb in too.

By the time we got to our lunch at the park, they had ran out of food, so the ladies told us another park semi nearby we drove to and got lunch there! Phew!

Adeline made a bunch of new friends at this park.
The boys brought the rip stick and Liam ran laps around, but Evelyn tried to run with them too. Can you spot her in the distance? I couldn't believe she could run that far and the whole time. Especially in the heat.
Cute video of Evelyn running. So thankful to have lunch at the park. It has always been such a great outing for my kiddos.
