Out of order pic where Ryan and I slept on the floor.Back when I was investigating our trip, I remembered the girls always say they want to go camping, and for a variety of reasons, it has never worked out. When I saw this yurt and how it was SO much cheaper than a hotel and would offer somewhat the camping experience, I booked it right up. It was in the middle of nowhere somewhat and about 6 minute drive from Panguitch off Highway 89. There was no power or water or electricity, so it would be a good time for us to downshift :) The yurt had some decks of cards so Adeline and Ryan played cards. It was a fun setup, the only thing that was a little tricky was it was pretty hot in the yurt (obviously) because no power and it had been shut up for a couple of days before we came. So it was a little on the toasty side in the yurt. We did have a fire pit and decided to roast hot dogs outside instead of using the stove. The girls were VERY excited to roast their own hot dogs since I don't think they have ever done that or been big enough for us to feel comfortable with them doing it. Liam started a great fire. And here they are roasting away.
Adeline was SO proud of herself for roasting her hot dogs.
Collin is always a fan of hot dogs.
Putting out the fire before we go walk around Panguitch. This was our walk down the main street of Panguitch. We stopped in this fun little store and the girls got some little "piece" candy you could buy for so much a pound. They had SO many flavors!
And then we stopped at a place for shakes. They were yummy. And cheap!
It was definitely the happening place in Panguitch. And a few candid shots of people sleeping. It was definitely a unique experience for us!
