FALL BREAK Sat Adventure, Loveland Aquarium

Adeline trying out this for her Halloween costume.
I was so excited that free kids' tickets were part of the 2022 PBS reading program, but you had to use them in the fall. And with his summer camp attendance, Liam got 2 more free comp tickets, so we only had to pay for Collin for our whole family to go to the aquarium. Which was a savings of over $125! Wahoo! We hadn't been for a couple of years, and we have never gone on a Saturday in the nice weather before.
They had this really fun zipline and a bunch of fun Halloween Hijinks activities.

Water table even for teenage and adult boys is fun.

They had this very entertaining "pumpkin smasher" guy that was kind of like a guillotine for pumpkins. Can't you see this GORGEOUS fall weather we have been having? It was a gorgeous day!
He was very very entertaining.

This was a cool little outside exhibit about poisonous snakes and bugs.
Getting some pirate treasure.
mermaid picture.
They also had a fun Halloween scavenger hunt both indoor and outdoor where you had to find certain letters. It made things a LOT more fun, even for me and Ryan.
Checking out the pirate ship.
Four kids token picture.
Finally made it inside. We also did the ECO voyager that is outside with the ocean. That was pretty cool. We ran out of time to do the rainforest, but it was fun.

Spotting the turtle.
The electric eel.
Doing the rope bridge is always fun.

The little toads were so funny to watch.

Climbing on the orcas.

Penguins is a huge hit always. They are so hilarious to watch.

Adeline was trying to find a penguin statue her exact height.
Nope, she is taller than a penguin!

Petting the stingrays. I'm a wimp and couldn't do it :(

Adeline was so scared of the shark tunnel. She just ran directly through ha ha.
Turning in our scavenger hunts for pirate booty (candy). Thanks aquarium! Adeline had a birthday party to get to, so we didn't do all we could have done there, and hardly anyone whined. A SUCCESS for a Saturday adventure!
