Collin's 5th birthday

We had a fun day celebrating Collin's 5th birthday. It started very early as usual (not a surprise for Collin) and we opened presents at 630 am.

 Liam wanted to help open.
We got more pretend play clothes, like a doctor outfit.
 A star wars shirt.
Karate suit, and a stuffed stingray (which was a huge hit for some random reason)
Collin really wanted to eat lunch at the park for his birthday. This is one of his favorite things to do is to go and eat lunch at the park in the summer. And it was corndogs! His favorite!

In case you can't tell, this is a Darth Vader cake. Yes, I free hand drew it, thus it is somewhat unique looking, but Collin chose to put a red light saber (okay, I should have put more red in the frosting)...
and he helped design the imperial walkers on the side of the cake.

Collin chose the light saber piece, of course. Afterwards, we went to Jungle Jim's and rode the rides and stayed until they closed.

Collin at age 5 is sometimes quite intense, but he is such a huge part of our family. So happy we have him!
