The White Wave hike

This was out of order pic, and near the back side as we had finished the hike. I actually really love this picture of all of us!
When we had scrambled up to the actual "white wave". It is a slick rock but can be very brittle. Originally, I had just heard of the wave, but then in booking it, I find out you HARDLY get permits and it is a pretty intense hike, so we opted for white wave.

Here we are after scrambling and hiking up the wave. Our guide gave Ryan and I hiking poles. I LOVED those things. I had never used them before and they really helped. We nicknamed my "four wheel drive".
Looking around the back.

Standing up from the back side.
This part was a little scary getting down, but I had the hardest time. No surprises there. The poles really helped.

In the back they had this cool sand dwelling area that obviously must have been used for something.

My pretty blue sky color again. Love EVERY time I see that!
Looking at all the cool petroglyphs.

Yeah for brave things! It was a good hike and we saw basically NO ONE there.
