Kanab Day 3, Peekaboo Canyon, Part 1

Our third day in Kanab we had our "biggest" adventure. We went on a guided tour to Peekaboo Canyon and the White Wave. This was a part out of order near the entrance into the Peekaboo Canyon.
Our family hasn't done much slot canyon hiking before (for a variety of reasons, but mostly because they are hard to get to in a van). The entrance into this place we NEVER would have made it five seconds. Our driver was great and he really was great.
Here we are in the Peekaboo Canyon. It wasn't super crowded so that was nice. Slot canyons are very cool.
All the kids liked stretching their legs across different parts.

Our guide often showed us cool things in the rocks or carvings.

And he was a GREAT photographer so this is the first vacation we have TONS of pictures of our whole family and not just the one token one.

Here is some of the lichen.
Proof I was there picture.

Apparently these are all backwards. So this is the entrance into the canyon.
This is a fun little hood doo right where you park and you can walk a couple hundred yards to.

My favorite color of blue sky.
