Evelyns' first ever cross country meet

Evelyn has been in a little cross country class this fall. She was inspired after the Olympics that she wanted to be an Olympic runner, but she learned track is only in the spring, and so she opted for cross country. She just had her first meet last week. Here she is before the race.

Awesome Sadee (and her cute dog Ruby) came to support. Sadee did cross country in middle and high school so it was SO awesome she came.

And she finished! Liam actually ran part of the last little bit of the race with her to help encourage her. But she did it! After I told her, you can ALWAYS do hard things Evelyn. I wasn't sure if she would want to go back to cross country because it was a LONG race and her legs were sore, but she did it, and went back to practice the next week :)
