January begins, winter arrives, gymnastics and ji jitsu carrying

Playing Life this past week.
Liam did some ji jitsu.

This is Miss Madison, Adeline's art teacher who she LOVES.
Evelyn got permission and went to an orthotics place and we are trying out (just a little bit each day for now) regular tennis shoes with just thicker inserts in them. She is VERY VERY excited, even though she still has to wear her brace to school for now.
Winter has finally arrived.
One morning Evelyn came down reading her Book of Mormon. She has been really, really excited to read it lately.
And we did curly hair for school.
Working on backbends.

And handstands on the little beam.

I can't remember now what this move is but all the adult teachers and some advanced students had kids in Liam's class get on them in a certain position and they were supposed to try and stay on and the teacher shake them off.

The teacher could do anything he/she wanted but Liam stayed on both times!

It was really entertaining to watch actually. And funny. All the kids stayed on pretty good!

It was a good start to January and busy!
