Girls get sidewalk chalk, and we visit the zoo for the first time in 2023

A family friend came and brought the girls sidewalk chalk. Here is their note to say thanks.

Since we haven't renewed our zoo pass for this year, we haven't gone. We had 3 free kid tickets from our PBS reading pass last fall so we went the Friday of Labor Day weekend since there was no school. It felt like we hadn't been to the zoo in FOREVER since we used to go every month, sometimes every week.

Since we had just watched the realistic lion king Adeline loved this statue.
