Gymnastics, found keys, fancy toenails, activity days art, and ji jitsu and jeans for Evelyn

My car keys have been lost for a couple of weeks. Luckily, Ryan had an extra on his keychain, so no worries, but I miraculously found them in the silverware drawer while hunting for the grill brush. Can you spot them? Makes total sense why they were there, but man did they blend in.

For young women's, we did self-care and I got fancy toenails.

Liam did ji jitsu.

Adeline got a LOT stronger on the bars at gymnastics.

Evelyn is working on her back walkover I think is what it is called.

And she is working on her lower beam handstand.

And a cute grandma in our ward had some pants from her granddaughter that didn't fit anymore, so she dropped them off for Evelyn. They were all jeans so I wasn't sure if they could work because Evelyn in her whole life has never worn jeans due to her motor issues with righty. But.....determination wins! She found this pair and LOVED LOVED LOVED them. And they work with her brace ok. And she was ecstatically running around thinking she looked so cool. She was so happy! Thank you Sister Cline!

Saturday adventure Sept 23 Tracy Aviary

I had been wanting to do the Aviary before the end of September so we could still see the outdoor bird show. And when the weather was still decent. So we had 3 free kids tickets from the PBS reading and a BOGO from the library reading, so it was much cheaper than normal. Playing at the entrance.

Adeline started taking a zillion pictures of all the birds. She started saying I'm not going to do plants anymore, just birds.

Thus the lots of bird pictures. I deleted a lot, but figured I better keep a few in so we had some "to study".

The flamingos are always a hit.

And they had 2 baby flamingos! One was just born like a month ago. They are the little grey birds in the back.

This guy was cool. This bird show is GREAT. They have at least probably 15 or so different birds that come out and do things. And fly right over your head. I'm so glad we caught it. Due to scheduling things, we weren't able to stay until the indoor bird show this time, but that is also really fun.
