Cruise Day 5 we get off the ship and see the USS Iowa before heading home

Our last meal in the Navigator. The girls were so excited they got to keep their lanyards.

Working out in the mini park before the USS Iowa opened.
On the main deck of the Iowa.

Seeing the big guns.
And torpedos. This was a really interesting tour because there was so much to see. A few years ago we toured a ship in San Diego, but our kids were way smaller so it was just different.
I loved seeing the mess hall. This ship has been to SO many places of the world. They had a huge map on the wall that showed where it had been and it was awesome.

Can't remember what all were on these decks, but they were cool.
The "spy" deck. Look at that gorgeous ocean and sky!

We learned all about the "driver" of the ship and how we had a ton of protection around where he drove the ship.

And it was crazy to see the amount of wires everywhere before wireless was around :)

I remember seeing these candy machines growing up!
This was where you ordered your food. They had a dummy that actually talked to you! It was a really fun way to spend a couple of hours spent learning before we headed to the airport for the flight home.
