San Antonio Day 5, church and a trip down to Corpus Christi beach

After church we made the close to 2 hour trek down to Corpus Christi for the beach. Definitely not as fancy or upkept thriving city as San Antonio. But here is how excited my kids were to get out of the car!

 Silly dancy moves.
Family picture near the ocean with almost all real smiles! A miracle!
Fun random shots in a gazebo with each kid. The walk along the beach was nice. This was more like a boardwalk.

Sad times. This cool fountain we saw online has been ruined by a hurricane a couple of years ago. They are going to fix it, but we didn't get to see it.
 Excited to see the beach.

 Adeline ADORED looking for shells.

And mostly throwing them back in the ocean. The beach we went to in San Diego didn't have shells, so it was fun for everyone. Definitely not warm enough to go too far in the water, but still a fun day.

Liam did this puzzle on the drive back. Score for bigger puzzles that take a bit of time!
