About once a year we try and go down to the planetarium. That place is very cool. More so cool because the actual exhibits are completely free, parking you can get validated for 3 hours or less, and it has a lot of interactive things for all age groups. Here Adeline is in the spaceship play area.
We always like the pendulum as you first walk in. You could spend hours watching that thing knock over the metal bars :)
Creating a tornado in the weather station is always fun.
They have a lot of "space" invader type games on the bottom level. A big hit for the boys.
Trying to land things on the moon.
The zapper machine.
Learning about the aurora borealis.
More zapping.
I can't remember now what this was about but positive and negative energy of some kind.
This cool ball run is a big hit for all of us. It is so cool to watch the balls go down the different routes.
Fun cloud demonstration.
Smelling what some of the other planets smell like. Gross is all I can say!
Adeline doing her "powers" with magic.
Trying to land the apollo.
You can't see me, but I FINALLY landed it on the super hard area, thus the green light.
A new favorite spot, showing everyone's heat index inside their body, which mine is always the lowest by far.
More fun space games.
Climbing into the shuttle.
