Home fashion show, practicing volleyball with Liam, and Evelyn's second week of volleyball games

Out of order pose, but I liked this pose since it showed some Evelyn in action at volleyball this week.

On Sunday afternoon, the girls set up a fashion show in the hallway. They are very imaginative and creative when they want to be :)

Monday afternoon, Liam and I took Evelyn to the church to try and practice with serving, the most difficult challenge at this point. It was very tricky trying to do underhand due to righty not being strong enough. So Evelyn decided she was going to do a "one-handed" overhand serve. The chalkboard is to represent the net. She got it over quite a few times.

Now at her games this week...

She did go after a couple of balls and hit them, but not over the net :) But I was so proud of her whole team. They did SO SO SO much better this week than last week! A lot of them got serves over and there were even several volleys!

Evelyn doing her serve. She got a few over with no return volley so she got her team some points. She was SO SO excited about this. I'm so glad she has figured out, at least for now, a way to serve. She said she enjoyed volleyball SO much more this week because she figured out how to serve.

Good job girlie! You are fun to watch try and conquer hard things!
