Saturday adventure April 20, Taylorsville Temple open house

After 4.5 years of watching the Taylorsville Temple being built, last Saturday was the first time we all got to go inside as a family. It was such a special experience. Here we are waiting in the short line to go inside.
Almost there!

Adeline kept hanging on to this hand rail calling it "the iron rod." It was so cute.
Outside after we went in. One of the special things was Adeline wanted to wear her white dress so she matched the temple. She also (in explaining what we do in the baptistry) said she wanted to be baptized for Hyrum Anderson. That is our Bishop's son who died in a tragic drowning last December. Even though we explained to her Hyrum didn't need to be baptized, she was very, very serious about it.
My family in front of the temple. I love my family!
They had a sister missionary outside in this area just to take pictures of people. I thought that was so great.

All the flowers in bloom were so so gorgeous.
Around the east side. Still such pretty tulips!

Adeline admiring the flowers.

The north side facing.

I couldn't get over all the pretty flowers.

I liked this picture with just the sun behind the clouds.
While waiting for the shuttle to take us back to our van.

Cute flower girls.

I love this picture of our family!

These weren't with the temple but the day after. Grandma wanted some new pictures for our wall, and 3 kids cooperated. I thought all these were so good. Collin got a bow tie from Grandma that he really likes so he wears that often now.
Cute birthday dress and her missing tooth and Adeline is truly smiling at the camera in this picture. I LOVE it!

And the pink shoes that we got Evelyn like a zillion years ago FINALLY FIT!
