Memorial Day, boys get haircuts and we go hike Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge

Boys got haircuts. They look thrilled.

I had heard about this hike awhile ago, but decided Memorial Day morning would be a perfect time. It wouldn't be too hot and hopefully if we went early enough, we wouldn't run into crazy crowds. We got there a little before 9 and I was sure glad we had gone that early. The parking lot was already full so we had to park a little ways down on the road. Token kid picture as the hike is starting. But we saw basically NO ONE on the way up, since we went the harder longer way.
Seeing a drainage pipe on the trail.

Yeah! Almost everyone smiling AND looking at the camera!

We see the bridge!
Snack break.
In front of the bridge.

Our whole family. Look how green everything is!
It definitely was moving a little bit walking across. Very high up.
The girls.
Looking back.

We walked down the shorter steeper way on the way back and there were DEFINITELY a lot more people. I was so glad we had come earlier when we did.
Seeing the temples in the distance.
It only took us about an hour and 15 minutes so it was a good amount for us in our beginning of the summer adventures.
Adeline got to try her first popsicle for the first time in YEARS. We are getting so close to no thickened liquids!
And the boys try to get a PR at the gym.
