Day 4 continued, Tread of Pioneer Museum and playing at the park

We went to the Tread of Pioneer Museum in the middle part of the day. This little "display" was a game where it reminded me of the Oregon Trail or a choose your own adventure book. You got to read and choose which path you took and either were successful, or had setbacks. All my kids really liked doing it.
We found out there is a huge winter festival in Steamboat Springs in the middle of winter. There is a guy that basically rides down the ski mountain lighted up with fireworks that go off his HEAD! That was crazy to me!

Seeing the old stove.
Upstairs they had a pioneer kids' bedroom. The girls really enjoyed playing in there.
The typewriter is fascinating.

Coloring pictures.

Doing regular pioneer chores like sweeping.

Collin found a trumpet that was played by someone that used to live in this house.
This was the craziest, weirdest thing I have seen in awhile. This wreath was made of HAIR. HUMAN HAIR. It's like a way to memorialize special family. It made me want to throw up in a way.

The beaver fur was fun.

Liam said the bed wasn't too uncomfortable.
Eating pioneer candy.

We went to a park nearby before we headed to our last Steamboat activity, the ice bumper boats!
