Girls' Saturday adventure Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point

The girls each year (at least until age 12!) do the PBS reading program and get a free ticket to go to a Thanksgiving Point venue. They chose the Curiosity Museum. They actually had changed quite a bit of the "jungle" area this time. This is the new climbing area and secret passage way section. It was pretty fun.
You had to decipher the code.
This was a lava maze.
Adeline was great at the climbing wall section.

More secret finding out things.

We love seeing high high we can jump compared to grasshoppers. The "store and restaurant" area had been completely taken out for a new three and under section. The girls were pretty bummed about that, since that is one of their favorite sections there. I told them places are always changing and adapting and it's ok.

More on the extra high ropes course later.
The little windows in the city is fun.
Spent some time in the magician's show. You could "wave" this hand in secret.

Adeline did a puppet show.
The music area was a big hit this time.

Playing the imaginary harp.
Matching money at the bank.

Adeline liked pretending to rob the bank.
Learning about anthropods I think?
They had a new Curious George display in the "traveling exhibit" area. It was cute.

Definitely designed for younger kids, but the girls had fun at some of the places. We didn't read much Curious George with them, so they didn't know a lot of the characters.

Water area always a hit.
At least with Adeline. Evelyn was kind of done at this point. Adeline LOVES the water area and doesn't care if she gets soaked.

Adeline's hair in the hurricane weather :)

More at the jungle climbing area.
Being a sloth.
