Since we had 3 days off in a row, I decided we had to do something for an adventure. Thanksgiving Point had $5 Tuesdays for February, we got tickets for the Butterfly Biosphere. We spent quite a bit of time at the butterfly greenhouse.
These pictures are totally out of order but this HUGE gorgeous butterfly landed on Liam's hair and basically never left. He got so many people asking him to take his picture. He thought it was so funny.
He named him Maximilius. He was the ONLY butterfly of this species.

Adeline was a little scared at first to have a butterfly and she wanted to hold one SO long. But finally she caught a little one on her finger and was SO SO happy.
This butterfly Adeline named "Gerald". She caught him near the end of our stay and we all LOVED the blue wings on the inside. They opened up every once in awhile.

For the first little bit we were there, Evelyn was the only one that got a butterfly to land on her and she was like a butterfly whisperer.

This was when Maximilius first landed on Liam.
This was one of the coolest things I thought while we were there. They have an area where they have butterflies in all stages of life cycles. But when we looked at this one, it was COMING OUT of the chrysalis! It was seriously the coolest coolest thing to see it coming out of the shell.
Here it is basically out of the shell but its wings were still shriveled up.
This was another gorgeous butterfly that landed on Evelyn.
This giant owl butterfly landed on Evelyn upside down kind of and then stayed with her for like 20 minutes.
We had a lot lot of fun in the greenhouse and spent a lot of time there.
