Saturday family adventure Church History Museum

It had been YEARS since we have been to the church history museum. As it's gotten colder, we have had to find some stuff more inside. This was a really neat place though. This is where you can imagine where Joseph Smith hid the gold plates.

Trying to lift a replica of what the gold plates could have looked like.

Playing the emigration game.

Learning about Nauvoo.
Experiencing what the Liberty Jail could have been like.

Pulling the blocks of the temple.

This area upstairs for kids about temples had had a lot of stuff taken down with covid unfortunately. But it was still fun.

Collin made his family tree.
Standing at the pulpit.

It was a fun morning learning more about the church. Especially applicable this year because we have been studying the Doctrine and Covenants in Come Follow Me.
