Natural History Museum visit

Recently I found out we could use our ZAP tickets we got for spring break (hello virus shut down) up until mid December of this year. So I took advantage and we went last Friday. Some of our favorite things were closed due to covid, but we still had lots of fun.
Learning about Native Americans on the 5th floor.

Watching the ant hill.
Playing I spy with the taxidermy area.

Seeing the amount of pressure we can jump with.

Snack break. It was actually hardly anyone there for quite awhile.
This was a new traveling exhibit, and my favorite part. It was antarctic dinosaurs. I wish I could have read all the info about it. My kids don't always do tons of reading. But this was a fun interactive area where you could try and "survive" an expedition.
Digging out the fossils.

Flooding the Salt Lake Valley.

My kids have always loved this glass floor....and little ones are always kind of nervous with it.

Our yearly "infamous" big dino footprint picture, minus the footprint which wasn't on display today.
This was the boys' favorite part. An interactive game where you built a city and area and saw how much climate change you could handle or cause. They really got into it.

Adeline didn't really like that so we played the scientist quiz about 50 times :) she always wanted to be a paleontologist :)
