4th of July 2015 part 1

 Usually Ryan's family comes into town over the Fourth of July, but this year they didn't. I think it's the first time in a very long time we had just our little family to celebrate. We decided to go to This is the Place Heritage Park for most of the day. It was SO fun! Evelyn did not want to be patriotic for her bow. We had gone earlier this summer, but didn't get to stay as long as we wanted.

 Learned how to churn butter. Liam ADORES butter, but he didn't like the idea of churning for an hour to eat it.

 Plowing again

 Beating rugs

 Making wool.

 Watching the spindles.

 They had a "candy cannon" while we were there that shot out candy. You can guess this was a huge hit!

 And we came better prepared for splash pad play. It was SO much less busy this day so that made it fun too.

Even Evelyn splashed a bit!
