Vista Classic Fun Center Night and other random pictures

The last couple of weeks Adeline has been learning to play the piano. I went to the music store and got her a couple of beginning learning books and most days we do a few lessons and practice a few songs. She is getting to be much better, even though the first time she sees a song she always says "this is so hard!" Good life lessons that we can do hard things.
Evelyn before her community up with kids performance at Taylorsville High.

And Vista had another classic night.
Skating around.
Jumping off the big hill.

More skating.

Mother's Day 2025

The girls made me a very sweet table setting to sit at.
This is a card that Adeline made in art class that she kept hidden from me. It was so sweet. And I LOVED the daisy!

This is what she made at school.
More view of the table setting. They made the wrap for the flowers in the jar very fancy that said Happy Mother's Day.
And in the background on the TV they had calming music with cute scenes of koala bears, my favorite animal. It was very very cute.

Vista Multi-cultural night and Evelyn's dance

Out of order pic in getting ready to bow.
Evelyn was one of the dancers to represent "Venezuela". Her group had worked SO hard on all her dance and she was so excited to do it.
She also had perfect hair for the dance because her teacher said people from Venezuela dance with long hair!

Moving around with her skirt was a little tricky. She did GREAT!
For several parts of it she had to dance with this boy.

Bowing.

Her whole group.
I HAD to take a picture of this Mexican money because I looked at it and what did it have on it? An AXOLOTL! SERIOUSLY!?!??!
Adeline's "mexican folk art" picture. I loved all of her detail. It was a fun night!

More bows after the dance.

Weeding the garden, seeing baby chicks at library, paper boats, and Botox for Evelyn

Here is a big pile of weeds. I spent all last week getting our garden weeded, and man, was that a project!
I found out they had baby chicks at the library so one day I took Adeline to see them. She loved them of course and took tons of pictures.

More garden weeding update.

More weeding. Part of this was complete grass I had to cut out from the garden. That was HUGE.
Adeline for a few days has had a new obsession of making paper boats. Here is her pile she made.
Last Friday, May 9, Evelyn finally got her botox injection in her right hand. We are really hopeful that she can get some more movement and looser tone in righty with this procedure. She is in her heated blanket time right now :)
