Liam's 15th birthday celebration

We were going to go and do a race car sim racing thing that morning, but the night before we found out they were all booked for the Martin Luther King holiday. So since Ryan only had to work the afternoon shift, we used our Get Out Pass to go do something new at this sports simulator game. 

Here was a quarterback throw game. It was kind of tricky.

We played the quarterback game for a bit and then switched to hockey. 

Evelyn was really good at the hockey one.

We also did some soccer scoring.

And for a few minutes at the end we did football goal kicking. We liked this one the best. 

Liam wanted Wingstop for dinner so we got some wings and the best fries he has ever had. Some of us just got chicken sandwiches :) And we watched Mean Girls movie (not the girls they watched something else) per Liam's request. He really liked that movie which was a huge surprise to me.

Had ice cream for a birthday treat. 

It was a more low key birthday since most of his presents were given a couple weeks ago with Darrow and his cage stuff, but it was fun. We love you Liam!

Adeline has needed new glasses for awhile since hers have gotten so scratched. She ON HER OWN said she wanted a blue pair, so we ordered some and then, she hated them. So we returned them and got another pink pair just like her current ones, but we have at least one pic of her in the blue ones. 

Took Collin on a Saturday date adventure to Handel's ice cream. 

Liam got another crested gecko as part of his early birthday present. 

He is bigger than Echo was, in hopes that he won't totally and utterly disappear. So far in the couple of weeks we have had him all is well. Here he is when we just brought him home.

Liam is also taking guitar this semester so we got him a guitar. He is pretty good about playing and practicing.

Winter break, mini golf at the Rush Funplex

Out of order pic and playing the basketball shooting game in the arcade for free apparently. 

We still had a couple days off for winter break January 5-6 due to teacher workdays, so we used our Get Out Pass and went mini golfing at the Rush Funplex. It was a little intense but fun.

We have gotten slightly better at being kind while mini golfing and better putters as well.

This is a fun course because it is all in dark light. You go through the nine holes twice. 

Some of my pictures were very blurry apparently. 

It was a fun afternoon activity.
 

Evelyn's first temple trip, art class, cookie making, and HP party

Out of order pic with kids the first Saturday of 2026, Jan 3rd we took Evelyn to do baptisms the first time.

Here she is after getting her recommend early January 2nd. She has been the most excited kid for 2 years to be able to go to the temple.

Evelyn's friend Anika had a Harry Potter party she went to that was really fun.

Adeline did this drawing completely freestyle one morning on winter break. I was SO impressed!

Ryan gave the girls cookie making aprons and hats so they made cookies.
